My days aren’t always the same. I get a lot of variety thanks to my husband’s shift-work schedule.
However, as a work at home parent I do have to maintain a routine to help me stay focused, help my children adapt and minimize chaos in our home.

Mornings

I am not an early riser. I am awake by 7. I get changed and walk/jog for a half hour. This is the best way for me to start my day. I find that if I get the exercise done early then I don’t have it “nagging” me all day. The kids get up at 7:30 and we’re out the door a little after 8:00 to take them to school.
